By now, we all know that getting exercise, eating a balanced diet, and getting enough sleep are good ways to stay healthy. Sometimes, though, we can do all of these things and still feel fatigued or be experiencing other ailments that we just can’t explain.
What May be Keeping you from Optimal Health
Many people have no idea that there’s something in the environment that is stealing our energy, causing headaches and fatigue, and eroding our immune systems. You can’t see it, smell it, or hear it, but it’s crept up on us silently throughout the last twenty years.
This beast pervading our environment is called electrosmog. It’s the soup we all now live in, composed of electromagnetic fields (EMFs) being spewed out by cell phones, laptops, WiFi, cell towers, smart meters, and power lines. EMFs are also generated by our electrical grid and all our appliances. Electrosmog is everywhere and we can no longer escape it.
Although there is currently some controversy about whether EMFs are hazardous to our health, there are hundreds of independent scientific research studies now saying that indeed they are. Man-made EMFs have been linked to ailments like headaches, fatigue, depression, and digestive and sleeping disorders. They have also been correlated to serious diseases, such as Alzheimer’s, Diabetes, Fibromyalgia, and cancer.
The Health Tip that could Make all the Difference
You may not realize it, but the impact of EMFs on your body may be keeping you from feeling your very best. It could be what’s preventing you from running that extra mile or swimming those extra laps, or just from feeling generally good and healthy.
Reduction is Key
Here at EarthCalm, we recommend that everyone keep their electronics (especially those emitting WiFi) as far from the body as possible. This includes holding your cell phone at least an inch away from your ear while on a call and turning it to airplane mode or off when not is use. Unplugging household appliances while not in use and turning off your router at night will greatly lessen your EMF exposure, also.
While reducing your personal EMF levels at home is the obvious first step, there is no way to be completely free of EMFs in this day and age. Choosing to protect yourself is simply smart.
